Hi Hollie,
Would you be interested in reviewing and doing a giveaway with one of our Spa Time Baby Capes or Mats?

Hi Hollie,
Thanks so much for the awesome review of the Valco Ion that you just posted. I’m very interested in knowing your opinion of their double Ion. I’m expecting number 2, and our 1st will be 2 when the 2nd is born. Any thoughts on the double? You mentioned that the the footrest is short for some kids– Would this be an issue in the double as I’d be buying it for a toddler and newborn?
Thanks!
Hi Nili,
So, i would not worry at all about the footrests on the Valco Baby Ion with your newborn and 2 year old!
The footrests will be the same size on the double but they will not be a problem at all for your toddler. The footrest is only going to be a bit short with kids that are getting toward the weight capacity over age 4. Honestly, by that age, they will have no interest in sitting in a stroller anyway

Hi, can you tell me when the Lillebaby everywhere sport carrier will be available…I’ve been waiting for months! Thank you
I was told that the Lillebaby Everywhere Sport Carrier was supposed to be available from a few online retailers now. I cannot find anyone that actually has it in stock yet though. I was also told that the Scandinavian Child website http://www.scichild.com would have them available to buy on their website hopefully by tomorrow, Friday, January 22. I checked to website to see if they were available early but they are not. Hopefully it will be available soon!

Hi Hollie,
Thank you so much for your video reviews – they are very helpful. I am expecting our second baby in May and my 1st will be 21 months at that time. Considering this, I would love to know what you think would be the best double or convertible double stroller that you have tested. I like to jog a little too with the kids if that is possible so a smooth ride is important to me. Thank you for your help!
Hi,
Your video review for the City Jogger City Select was great! I am trying to decide between that and the Uppababy Vista 2010. Which would you recommend? Also do you think a bassinet is good to have for a newborn or is the carseat better to use?
Thanks!
Hi!
I left a comment under the City Jogger City Select but wanted to expand upon my question. I currently have a single BOB Revolution (for walking the dog) and a Maclaren (for keeping in the car to run errands with) and we are getting ready to have a new baby (they will be 20 months apart). I bought a Phil and Ted’s Sport thinking it would be the answer to my prayers but I can’t tell you how much I dislike it and I want to return it. I hate that my feet hit the frame when I walk and I don’t feel that it handles well. I LOVE my BOB but am concerned about width and weight of a duallie. What stroller might you recommend? I need a double stroller that goes from birth (with car seat adapter is fine) and that can be used to walk the dog on sometimes uneven terrain. Also, my oldest is not a small child – 18 months, 31 lbs and 34 inches so that is a consideration for length of use.
Your advice would be wonderful!!
Thank you in advance,
Elizabeth
Hi. I find your reviews (and videos) extremely helpful! My baby is 3 months old and we have not decided on a high chair yet. I am very intrigued by the phil and teds high pod but have not been able to find much online about it. Do you know anything about it? It seems to have taken a long time for it to be available to the public- do you know why?
Thank you very much.
Hi Shoshana,
It’s funny that you asked about the Phil & Teds highpod high chair. We just finished reviewing the high chair and will be filming a video review of it in the next few days. So yes, we know all about it! J If you can wait – the full written and video review of the highpod will be going up at the beginning of next week.
Best,
Hollie
Hollie,
I have a 3 year old and a newborn. What stroller would you recommend for us? We travel a lot, mostly international, so would like it to be as light as possible my 3 year old doens’t like to sit in a stroller that much anymore, but she gets tired when we walk a lot and would like to ride on ( i think it’s called step up or ride on attachment). I would also prefer a stroller with air filled tires for easy walking on cobbled streets. Any recommendations? We currently have a quinny buzz, but it’s too heavy and no ride on attachments fit on it.
Hi Hollie,
It seems like there are a few of us that have similar questions…what’s the best stroller you can recommend for those of us that have a newborn (in a car seat) and a toddler?
Right now the top choice for me is the Phil & Ted because I’d like to be able to use it for light/occassional jogging as well as strolling. I do have my eye on the Uppababy and BJ City Select.
Any one that you would highly recommend? I tried searching for a review on the Phil & Ted strollers but nothing comes up. If you have reviewed, please point me in the right direction.
Thanks for your help!
Hollie … soon to be first time father here with a quick question. My wife and I have pretty much settled on getting the BJ City Select. However, we’re still debating on color. We thought we wanted to get the Onyx, but then thought that it might get too hot when out and about in the sun. What are your thoughts on dark colored strollers? Does it make much of a difference? If so, we’ll probably go with the Diamond color and hope it doesn’t get too dirty.
Thanks for your input,
James
P.S. I owe you a debt of gratitude for all the reviews and videos you have published on your various web sites and YouTube. You have really made my stroller research SO much easier (though it has still taken weeks). My compliments on your reviews. Each is very professional and objective, pointing out the positives and negatives of each product you review. Thanks to your videos and reviews, I feel like I know everything I need to in order to get the stroller appropriate for my family.
Regarding your question about the City Select – First, it would depend on where you live. If you live in a really hot state, the black will get a bit hotter in the summer than a lighter color. I don’t think it is going to be a huge difference from a lighter colored stroller but naturally a darker fabric will seem a tad hotter. I have used darker colored strollers in the summer plenty of times and my kids never seemed to have a problem with them.
The diamond color is beautiful and everything but remember white will show more dirt. It is a very, very light fabric! Beautiful but will get very dirty, very quickly. I do think it is the most attractive color of the seat options though but will definitely show dirt more than the black or red. (Side note: I bought an off-white winter jacket for my 5 year old because I absolutely LOVED what it looked like. Well, a 5 year old and a white coat didn’t work out so well for me. The jacket is quite dirty!) If you like the diamond color I would recommend getting a fabulous seat liner to keep the seat a bit cleaner. Booyah Baby and Bebe Chic make great seat liners that would probably fit and they come in some fabulous colors and patterns. I haven’t tried these liners in this actual stroller but they say they fit most 5 point harness stroller seats. Just thought I would throw that out there as another option.
Hope this helps!
Hollie
